Our verification process
Our standard is simple: a business must be real, trusted and genuinely operating in Kashmir. Government tourism registration is checked and shown where it exists, but many trusted local businesses operate without it, and we welcome them too.

The business operates at the stated address in Kashmir.
2. Contact
Phone, WhatsApp, email and website are active and belong to the business.
3. Authenticity
How long it has operated, its reputation, and any documents the owner provides.
4. Govt. registration (if any)
J&K Tourism, GST or Ministry of Tourism registration is cross-checked and shown as a badge.
Ongoing monitoring: if a business gets repeated complaints or is reported by tourists, we investigate and may suspend or remove it. Verification confirms that a business is real. It does not guarantee service quality, so always read reviews and confirm details before you pay.

All bookings, payments and service agreements are made directly between you and the listed business. Kashmir Stay does not handle tourist payments, bookings or reservations.
